Jacksure Managed Maintenance Plan

In today's high volume production environment unexpected breakdowns can be very costly in more ways than just the cost of repairs. Fortunately modern machinery is extremely reliable, particularly when maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations. However, without proper maintenance by competent personnel, small problems very quickly become big expensive ones if left unchecked or unnoticed.

Although maintenance alone will not prevent all breakdowns, it will assist in reducing them. Associated costs in down-time will also be reduced as maintenance visits can be scheduled to suit production requirements, and the availability of a suitable engineer is assured - which is not always the case in the event of an unexpected breakdown.

 

Jacksure has been designed to assist manufacturers in cost-effectively maintaining their plant, and typically operates on a three-month cycle. With each visit (by appointment) a Service Engineer will run a full check on your machine(s) in conjunction with your own in-house engineer or operator. The results of these checks are recorded in a comprehensive and detailed report, covering all mechanical and electrical components. You will receive a copy of this report within 10 working days.

The Jacksure report details any matters that need to be addressed by:

  • the Jacksure engineer on the next call on cycle,
  • the Jacksure engineer immediately,
  • a local engineering company, or
  • your own operator
 

Jacksure Service Promise

 

Service promises are easy to make, but often delivery can be a different matter. So we are prepared to back up our Jacksure plan with our ‘Service Satisfaction Guarantee'.

Should your machine have stopped (rather than be operating in a limited capacity) and you are unable to use it, if we fail to have a technician on site within 8 business hours from the time the job is logged with our Service Centre, then our technician's labour for that visit will be free (Any parts will be chargeable, if applicable.)

To recognise the fact that whilst your machine is under our 12 month comprehensive warranty there may be no chargeable labour costs anyway, we will for such events extend our normal warranty by one month for each failure to meet our stated response times.
