No more unexpected glue run-outs.
The pre-melt unit is fully automatic. A 12.5kg glue granule reservoir in the machine bed delivers glue granulate to the 5kg pre-melt hopper via compressed air.
The pre-melt unit monitors the glue level and automatically replenishes the glue tank.
Only a small amount of glue is pre-melted to maintain excellent glue integrity. The means you are always applying fresh clean glue to the workpiece. Enhancing bond strength and minimising glue line appearance.
A quick-change glue pot means colour changes are fast and simple. Swapping the glue pot out takes less than two minutes. (Additional pots are available separately)
The EVA gravity fed glue-pot ensures glue is exposed once during the application process and not recycled causing contamination in the glue-pot.
KDT infeed guides and rollers are mounted on 10mm steel plates. 3 pneumatic pressure rollers ensure the tape is firmly pressed against the workpiece.
Two independent saw units glide smoothly on high-precision THK linear guides, line control positioning ensures the blades engage precisely at the required moment.
Adjustments to tape overhang can be made directly from the touchscreen control panel.
Adjustments to the fine trimming units are made via the mechanical digital dials providing repeatable precision during setup.
